Sky Bet senior IT executive Jailed for fraud. Matt Richmond (pictured above) was the former head of enterprise IT at Sky Betting & Gaming. Richmond joined Sky Bet in 2015 and was sentenced to two years imprisonment at Leeds Crown Court after admitting a charge of fraud. Richmond’s scheme was to order Apple MacBooks and sell them on his eBay account. Records showed £243,000 being transferred from his Paypal account to his own personal account. Mr Richmond wanted to keep the ordering of these devices quiet by getting suppliers to deal with just him, but was found out by colleagues querying the large quantity of new devices.
